Fix Me

Raed Andoni
France, Switzerland, Palestine, 2010

Not only is this a fantastic concept for a documentary, but the directing is superb. The action centres around the filmmaker himself, Raed Andoni, as leading character. Plagued by migraines, he decides to undergo psychotherapy, and film the process. Unsurprisingly, and not just metaphorically so, the analysis of his mental health, plus all the questions running through his head end up rocking his entourage of family and friends, projecting a tragicomic vision of Palestinian society like never seen before.
