Lauren Scott studies a man overwhelmed by the mess of the forest that envelopes him. The student filmmaker came from afar (South Africa) to try to build a dialogue with this man from the woods of the Ardèche. Without any means of storage, he calls for freedom, consoling himself with the words “it’s worse elsewhere,” spitting them out like stones. But Scott fearlessly gathers them up. For a first attempt, this precise, mysterious film marries the banal with the strange.
