"Walk the Walk" requires you to let go of preconceived ideas about storytelling so as to grasp the full force of Kramer’s narrative experiment, letting yourself be swept along by the melancholy of Raye, Abel and Nellie, as they wander in search of identity, each pushed by political and social upheavals along the way. Kramer subverts the rules of narrative fiction by entering into a dialogue with his characters off camera, forging a close bond that can be seen in the intense gazes that speak back to him.
