Tënk's film review

Frédéric Guillaume films every waking second of his life. First we see him meet Claire, then Claire pregnant, Frédéric becoming a father, and then him trying to keep his relationship together. With the camera permanently switched on he captures his most intimate moments, from daily routine, to shared joys, from doubts to rough patches. His film documents life, bearing witness while also serving as confidant. This rich mix of footage, blended with animation and family archives, produces a work that is the everyman’s personal diary. Clear Years is included this year in the Feast for the Eyes selection at “États généraux du film documentaire” in Lussas.
